Combat Bots are like Combat Vehicles, but are built at their own factories and serve specific purposes. Terraformers have Drones and Survivalists have Arachnids. Drones hover above the ground, ignoring all terrain including lava, and can only be targetted by specific weapons or by Meteor Defense installations. Arachnids on the other hand are land-bound, have a consistent speed regardless of terrain and are immune to EMP, but can be hit by any kind of weapon system. Terraformers: 1. Field Drone: -> Performs field repairs up to 75% HP, but consumes resources. -> Can replenish Armor for free, unless it is all gone. -> Can hack into Electromagentically disabled vehicles, converting them into their own faction. 2. Assassin Drone: -> Designed to attack and destroy enemy Arachnids. -> Weapon systems are virtually ineffective against other targets, but can one-shot any Arachnid. -> Must recharge it's weapon systems between each shot, making it good for destroying an Arachnid and then fleeing. 3. Bomber Drone: -> The factory that builds Drones can repair and reload Drones. -> The bomber drone has ammo for a single bombing, then it must reload. -> Can carry Starflare Explosives, an EMP Bomb, or a bunch of Mines. Survivalists: Arachnids are cheaper to produce. 1. Spider -> Performs field repairs up to 50% HP, but consumes resources. -> Can replenish Armor for free, unless it is all gone. -> Can hack into Electromagentically disabled vehicles, converting them into their own faction. 2. Scorpion -> Equipped with a cost-effective laser weapon. -> Can easily mass produce Scorpions, making them a great strategy for late-game play. -> Has significant armor for it's size, ensuring that they are generally only afraid of Assassin Drones. 3. Tick -> Equipped with a one-use Supernova explosive, that will usually one-shot any vehicle or structure in the game. -> Has high overall HP, making it difficult to destroy before it reaches it's target. -> However, care must be taken, as if it is destroyed before reaching it's target, it will spontaneously explode taking all allies or enemies with it. Thus, it is not a good idea to rush a group of them together, as if a single one is destroyed, it will likely take it's buddies with it.
