Co-op Vs Ai?
« on: November 23, 2012, 03:15:49 AM »
Friend and I want to try playing this game as a multiplayer Co-Op. Is there a way to have 2 human players and 2-4 AI players in the same match? or is AI restricted to single player only?

There are only two multiplayer levels that have an AI in them, and it's just the one AI.

Is it a single AI colony or can there be more than one? Also which levels have the AI? Thank you again for your help.

There is La Corrida, but you probably already know that.

A different multiplayer mission with AI is Dangerzone, which is made by Flashy. You can get it here. Dangerzone has become quite popular. It has only one AI, though.

There are also Caught in the Crossfire and Caught in the Crossfire II.

All those missions are not finish and you'll have to install them manually. But they're already fun to play.

Keep in mind that these scenario's are all made for established players and might seem a bit difficult in the beginning. However, event happen mostly at the same time and in the same way, so you can work around such things.

Ask any questions here if you need help, or ask one from OPU to play with you to show you how problems can be solved :)

Good luck!
There can be Only one. Wipe Them out. All of Them.

Old player still playing. Visit Spark for a game of Outpost 2

Caught in the Crossfire (1) was more or less finished, but CCF2 isn't.

Little known fact about CCF1: It is possible to evacuate to the east of your starting position next to the AI before the lava cuts you off. The spread speed of the lava is dependent upon the highest resource level that is assigned to a player, so it should be possible to do it on any resource level assuming everyone is set to the same one.

Thre is also a 2-player multiplayer map that has an AI, but it's not co-op

I think the CCF maps are the only co-op maps with AI.
CK9 in outpost

srentiln in minecraft (I like legos, and I like computer games...it was only a matter of time...) and youtube...

How would someone who knows nothing about Outpost 2 have the competence to make such a comment? And then, you should always give arguments that support your claim.
