ok so i got help from spikerocks101 on how to do this..

i will be posting some of my saved games so people can see how uberly amazing my colony buliding is :P

any other saved games with weird or different gaming styles are welcomes.

one of my colony missions has a population of over 1000. (dont beleive me look for your self and see how big my uber kingdom is :P )

though i call it 'colony101' cuzz it has no weapons and it's all about breeding metals and colonests.

YOU WILL NOT FIND THIS ON MULTIPLAYER!

my current mark is at least 4,000.

i will try my best to update this as i get spare time to play it.

498,216 = buged convec
436,207 = buged spider
167,211 = buged spider

Um... ok? I'm fairly certain that anyone with both the time and patience can do the same thing, if not better.

Now, I'm saying this based on just what I read, since I'm not interested in downloading anything, especially with this... unattractive presentation. I assumed you used the standard game and then played a few hours.

And if you modded a few tech files, then it's nice you could do it. It's not exactly hard, just maybe time-consuming and annoying (especially tech files such as the base building and vehicle stats)

Lastly, what's wrong with you LoP? You used to be much easier to understand a while ago. Now I'm 85% confused and 15% annoyed reading such posts of yours.

Why a little annoyed? Because:

ok so maybe its not all that great.

But you have to admit nobody else did this befor and thats saying alot since this game is so old. :P

The filename is P12Hard.OP2.  Let's deconstruct it:
Plymouth Campaign Mission 12 on Hard Saved Game

Rename it SGAMEX.OP2 (X = 0 through 9) to run it.

The point was, nobody cares about what you can do in single player.  You built a big colony.  So what?  I beat the campaigns on Hard.  Who cares?

I believe my maximum colony size was 2841...and by that time I could no longer build structures (it was after the unit limit increase, too).

So, I must say that this is rather underwhelming

Heh, I'm still a way away from reaching Sirbomber's level. I can't even beat Plymouth's mission 6 on hard. Then again, I gave up trying before I tried rushing it.

Sirbomber, it seems that your save game will not appear in my load list (and yes, I renamed it)

You have to click the slot it should be in.  OP2 is weird with saved games (try deleting all of your save games while OP2 isn't running.  They'll all still appear in the Saved Games list until you click on their save slots!).
