I'm assuming the potential new member will be randomly asked one question out of several potential questions?

Outpost 2 Questions:
What is the name of the terraforming microbe? > Blight, The Blight
What is the name of Eden's most powerful weapon? > Thor's Hammer
Which power-producing structure gradually loses hit points over time? > Tokamak
Which factory produces structure kits? > Structure Factory
A group of colonists left Eden to form their own colony.  What did they name it? > Plymouth
What is the tutorial number of the tutorial named "Mining Vehicles and Structures"? > 7, #7 or seven
Colonists are classified into three categories.  Name one of the categories. > Children, Workers, or Scientists
What is the lowest morale level? > Terrible
Plymouth's Arachnid Factory can build two types of units.  Name one of them. > Spiders or Scorpions

Outpost 1 Questions:
What is the name of the (asteroid/meteor/whatever the technical term is) that destroyed the Earth? > Vulcan's Hammer
What building produces breathable air for your colony? > CHAP
What is the maximum number of people you can bring with you on your starship? > 200
What is "not just a good idea... it's the law"? (HINT: Press the "New Game" button on the main menu.) > The speed of light
What is the name of your colony's newspaper? > Evening Star, Outpost Evening Star, The Evening Star, or The Outpost Evening Star

I figure people should be able to answer an OP2 or OP1 question, since some people come here for OP1, not OP2.

You make a valid point there.

Perhaps we could have the user answer one question from a set. That way they can choose a question from an area they know something about. Tell them to answer one question, and if they attempt to answer more they will be considered a bot. I bet a bot will either leave all the question fields empty, or try to fill them all in.
