Op4=homeworld?

throwing this out there. seem to be a lot of homeworld mods out there. and since cytera's probably gonna blow up, get taken over by an alien species, of generaly melt it's crust baking anyone on the surface were gonna go back into space.

.....and blow each other up.

my 2 cents.

why op4 just call it a op2 mod for homeworld that way you can just crank out s*** like crazy and not have to make a new every thing.

Yeah, I don't know why one would focus on OP4 seeing as there is not a finished OP3 game yet.

And as far as I have seen, all the OP3 ideas so far use their own engine (or a modified engine from another game), not some half baked mod on an existing game.

I would like to see a Outpost mod for Homeworld.

anways, there is adiference between controling litle converted civilian vschicles on some planet and controling spaceships.

besides, unless were stayibg on cythere(please see first post for reasons to leave)
were gonna blow each other up!and even if we stay wel still blow each other up cuz all the factions never get along.
am i wrong?

Well, the only thing I would say is, the story for OP3 isn't complete (and which OP3 anyway? Cythera is only part of the Genesis storyline, other OP3 projects have / have had completely incompatible storylines).

Also, the Outpost series doesn't involve a whole lot of things taking place in actual space (apart from the Conestoga landing, construction of a new starship, etc). The whole Outpost series is primarily a surface-based series.

And I want to calmly remind everyone that we are not the grammar police.

ah yes.....the venerable outpost series, isn't it about tim ewwe changed somehing, just to make things a little more interesting. as for storylines....in the end they blow each other up, from what i can tell this is prety much what happens.

No. Clearly, you do not have any idea what Outpost is about, nor is it likely you have read the novella; therefore your ideas have no credibility.  Additionally, may I suggest you actually go find out what people think about your "new" ideas? We're heard them all many times.

And I don't appreciate your sarcasm.  If you don't like Outpost 2, don't play it.  If you want to play Homeworld, then go play that. But we're here to play Outpost 2, not some poorly-designed mod.

Edit: Why is this topic's subtitle "Find Earth Already!"? You do realize they left Earth because it was destroyed by a meteor, yes? They aren't looking for it...
