Irc Problems
« on: September 17, 2007, 12:33:11 AM »
Just recently, the IRC services took a turn for the worst. The database was corrupted and we lost everything. You will now have to reregister all channels and nicks again.

I have installed a new IRC services called Epona. I believe it is a much better choice seeing it will interface with MySQL. From now on we will use Epona as our new IRC services. Since going with the new program, we can now create a web based interface for managing your IRC nick and channels. I am expecting to have it completed by the end of October.

I want to let you know that none of the commands, that I have noticed, have changed. please direct any questions about it either this thread or a PM to me.

Sorry for the inconvience, play on!
Take me to your leader! I bare the claws of a corndog.

Levi sent me here to request my half-op back in all #outpost2. channels.

Also, remember to reset all glines, unless they stayed intact.

The halfops will be back soon. I am setting everything up again so that once you authenticate, you will get halfops.

Can't say I really like these new services, either... you don't seem to automatically get oped/voiced/ownered/etc. when you identify when already in a channel where you have such status, and joining has a huge delay now.

I figured out a way around that arklon, just put the identify command in your preform.

I know, but if you're away and not using your normal, registered nick, and then you get disconnected and reconnect, when you change your name back, you'll have to /hop in every channel.
