Single Player Only Cheat

First this may have been done already but here goes. I downloaded my op2 mapper. Then I opened sheets. That when I extracted the multitek file. I then edited so that all residences, med centers and recreation were all set at  9000+ population. I then enabled the plymoth mhd for eden and that was done by changing -1 int 1 or 0. It worked it will also work for robot factories. And edn tec for plyoth which ever you like best. I then delted the old multitek and added the new. I also modified the building. I extracted the building file from sheets. and fout my ore building and changed them to 100000 or more to store my ore. It was fairly simple. But I also moded the map in eden starship to isolated the plyoth conoly on the map editor so they would not attack me. So far I have a few 1000 residents in my colony.

So, uh, you're bragging because you can't play OP2 without cheating?
That's an amateurish hack anyways.
Learn to play the game.

Edit: I hope you realize that you can't play multiplayer with your n00bed-up version of OP2 (not that anyone will want to play with you now. I mean, if you first post is about how you cheated, that's pretty much a kiss of death...).

I'd say that's not such a bad start to editing the game. Although, I don't know if I'd refer to that as a cheat. It certainly does make the game a lot easier though. But then it also makes we wonder what's the point of playing?

Hmm, come to think of it, those mods remind me of something Sirbomber sent me.  


We just need a good sandbox colony game.

Hey, I've got nothing against cheating, but when his first post on the forums is about a hack he made... What should we think?
As long as this doesn't become a trend, I've got no problem with him. But I have only one post to base my opinion of him on, and it's not a flattering image he's provided for us.

... and he was also careful to point out the single player part. At any rate, I'm not too concerned. Besides, multiplayer isn't for everyone, so maybe this is all besides the point.

As far as I'm concerned, this game could use a bit more play options (particularly single player and colony games) and if someone comes along who's interesting in modding the game I just think the more the merrier. Besides, how many new people show that much initiative and actually do something before posting about it.

Heh well i see this forum hast changed much in the time ive been gone lol. its always been a riot reading alot of peoples post and im  glad to see some familiar names again.
