Get Your Voice On Irc

Note to new members - You can get the voice symbol (the +) before your name if you do a few simple setup steps.

Use this command in IRC to register your nickname:
/msg NickServ register password email

From that point on, everytime you log on, use:
/msg NickServ identify password
to gain voice. If you don't do this and you have registered your nick, it will change your nick to that of GuestXXXXX where X = any number.

On mIRC / NNS you can shorten the commands to /NS register and /Identify rather than the long versions above.
