Trade Station

Quite simply the Trade station is a structure made available when at least two players ally with each-other and is an independent structure used to drop off materials without having to transfer the vehicle also.

It is used by having a vehicle dock at a docking port, now in order to transfer something to another player the vehicle must unload it's contents and the player must select which ally the materials are to go to this puts those materials into that players docking bay at the trade Station where the player can send a vehicle and pick the contents up. In order to load something a player has left for you dock a vehicle at the Trade Station and select the materials from your docking Bay.

BEWARE! The trade Station is designed for use between colonies and is self sufficent and is also defended!

Stats: 2 or more allied players
Trade Station:
Size: Ultra Large
HP: 4000
Armor: Heavy Renforced
FP: 4 Turrets: NE, NW, SW, SE
Ability: Mass Trade
SAbility: Internal Garage: capacity of 4 vehicles
Docks: 4 Docking Bays: for 4 player alliance
Power: 80: divided from each ally (ex. 2 allies = 40 power from each, 4 allies = 20 power each)
Colonists: 1 worker per ally for trade and 2 for garage total minimum 4
Common Ore: N/A
Rare Ore: N/A
3rd Ore: N/A

I think that a Trade center is not nescesary. We've got the Little trade center which is sufficent. You can trade resources and buildings by putting it into the Cargo Truck and giving the CT to another player. Also some players might Use the Trade Station as ana advanced version of GP, wich should make someones base "God" base.

But also you have a point in this building:

This one is good.
For now, it would be better that it's "repositorium" or "Alliance Repositorium" to deposit things.
Gordon Freeman, and mr. Crowbar would own Master Chief in any part of the day.

There already is a trade center all it needs really is more fuctionallity to it besides vec transfers.  There is no need for a station that is big and armored with the units are handled in the open which is far more quicker then docking them and then trading them.  You can trade buildings by loading the convec and then handing it over to whom ever.  Same with ore.  Only thing that cant be transfered is colonists and there are a few threads about that already.

Yes you might be able to transfer colonists with this structure to and also....... What happens if your ally forgets to send you your vehicle back?

In this case I agree with Savant 231-A.

Combine Cruiser, start a new topic named "Repositorium" with the info and ideas, instead of the Trade Center

Send your vec back they dont have to.  You should already know its not coming back an already built a new one.  There doesnt seem to be any reason to have 2 buildings that can have the same job.

Agreed! There is no need for that. I think we should focus more on thinking about new units, building, structure that will fit op3 instead of duplicate of already available unit and/or buildings.

Furthermore, this idea could be used as an upgrade for the Trade Center, but again this is something else. I can already come up with reasons why it is not a good idea.

Thank you for Posting.
