bumping rant:
I'm so sick of hearing of people who chose not to vote here in the US because they didn't either the democratic nor the republican candidates. There are other parties people! The green party alone has gained entire states in the past. Stop falling into the trapping mindset of "a vote for a different party is a wasted vote." If the other parties start getting more support, then the juggarnauts of the political system will start realizing they have major problems.
I'm also sick of people who vote based on the appearance of the candidates. Just because someone looks "cute" or "nice" doesn't mean they can do the job. Research the candidates, what they stand for, and vote for the one you agree with the most!
*steps down from his soap box and then smashes it against the wall in frustration over the improper voting practices*
Maybe there should be an exam in order to vote -.-
