I was just thinking, on days where I dont have the op2 cd (and those are sad days indeed) I play the op2 demo, its fun, but its hard to do anything in it because after a while a big earthquake destroyes your coloney and you cant stop it by relocating your coloney or anything

now with the op2 demo, the sheets.vol are not compressed and thus we have free access to the files, I have been able to mod the vecs, buildings, wepps, reshurch, and mines, but I havnt been able to control the weather, if somone could find a way to delay, or even better yet, elimanate that earthquake and the end of the game, it would make exparmentation a whole lot easior.

You'd need to modify the mission DLL. Op2hacker, Hooman, and Cynex know about OP2 DLL's.

i rmebr wen i used 2 edit disasters out

it just gave a warning on load tho b4 letting u play, so it wasnt gr8 editing lol

Editing disasters isn't too hard.

If you know any bit of reverse engineering, change the 1st byte of the disaster procs (usually named stuff like Tornado, etc) to a RET, so it bypasses the trigger code.

why don't you just download the no CD crack? It is as simple as that.

cos you can't edit the rules of op2 like you can in the demo
