Yes, I am lucky they use graphite now, and how about not being able to turn or hit the brakes on your bike while going down a hill, and you smack into a fence at the bottom and get catapulted about 10 feet?

Lol I've had some interesting experiences with mountain biking...

I was on this trail I had never been on, and it wound thru this field and ended up at the edge of a gully. So I started to go down the gully (it went down then up again) and for some stupid reason I pulled my front brake first... I've got the brakes really tight on my bike so you hardly have to touch the lever and it will fully stop your motion. Well, bad luck considering I was on probably at least a 7% grade, (facing downhill) and I had just *stopped* the bike using the front brake. Well, it doesn't really stop you from being thrown forward off your seat, so to avoid going ~15 ft down a rocky hill I had to throw all my weight towards the right. I stopped moving but I had another lucky surprise of getting the headset of the bike thrown at my face. (In case you don't know much about bikes the headset is the handlebars, anything attached to them like brake levers, shift levers, etc, and the post that attaches this to the rest of the bike.)

Usually stuff with my bike isn't as crazy, but I do manage ways where I can wreck parts if I'm not careful. Not major things if taken care of right away.
For example I was on another trail (yes I do quite a bit of mountain biking) and got a stick stuck in my derailleur (the part that moves the chain from sprocket to sprocket on the bike). Doing that kind of stuff will wreck the derailleur, which makes it hard or impossible to switch gears...
Luckily my cousin who was with me noticed it and I got it out before much harm happened...

i was piggy back ridding up a hill at least a 30 degree angle. and i fell of the persons back, rolled down the hill and the tire of a truck finnally broke my fall and almost my nose.

I jumped off of my bunk bed when I was 7 and cut my head open on the fan. I didn't stop bleeding for a half hour.

I also fell on some stone steps on my head when I was 5, chasing my cat. My dad was taking me inside but I kept falling on my head. I recieved a concussion and was in the hospital for a couple days on IV drip. lol.

did you guys hear the storyon the news a couple years back about the kid who accidentally jumped on a pencil, which stbbed him in the gut on his b-day? He walked into the kitchen and told his mom he thought he was going to die. luckily he survived, he was 5 at the time

One thing that confuses me to no end is, How could you find the Outpost Universe Forums and not know what OP2 or OP3 is? considering the only reason this forum is here is because of OP2 and OP3.

That is a very good question. And yes, phantom wins over me, never had my head cut open, closest thing I have had ot that is when I was 2 or 3, i opened the refirgerator and the glass milk bottle crashed on the floor, then I fell on top of it, cutting open my knee. I have 2 pretty good sized scars from that.
