I can't install the map editor

Hi, I'm new here.

I can't install the map editor

He tells me the following....

Fatal error in main (): Loading of essential editor files failed.

Err = (-2147467259) Could not find resource.
GetLastError = 0, Erl = 0

OS Version: NT 6.1 Service Pack 1

I've windows 7 64 bit ... what should I do?

If I remember correctly, you see that error when the map editor can't find the install folder of Outpost 2. You can move your copy of Outpost 2 to somewhere more standard, or possibly move the map editor to the same folder as Outpost 2 and see what happens.

I think the default location was either:
C:\Sierra\Outpost2
Or:
C:\Program Files\Outpost 2 Divided Destiny

Or edit Mapper2.ini and change the lines under [Paths].

Hmm, sounds like a different error this time. Maybe a missing dependency. Not sure what to make of that.
