Patch Idea

Figured as the meteor is a huge rock, itd proly have enough resources to be of some value to a player, in the form of a rubble pile. Plus it'd give the GORF a greater amount of usefulness.

(As the GORF is needed by a colony apparently. You suffer a morale penalty if one isn't active)

Nice idea.

But do meteors really contain ore in a form that can be easily harvested? I'd believe that there is much rock in space (not just metals).

Also, lets not turn Outpost 2 into C&C.

Hence, rubble. You have to process the rubble back into usable material. Plus any rock crashing into the ground at terminal velocity speeds would be molten slag anyways.

it really wouldnt be any thing fancy not much in a meteor other then nickel and iron. and it would really compare to a even a one bar mine. it would be at best a truck load of common ore.

Thats about as much ore you get from a pile of rubble. Its just that I've never seen an animation for on the ground for a pile of ore.
