Has anyone thought of making a decent single player or multiplayer map with decent AI

La corrida comp is just so boring.

It would be pretty cool to play skirmish vs a good computer AI in single player or even co-op in multiplayer.

Sorry if this post is in the wrong place, im new to the forums and still getting use to where everything is.

Did you try some community maps such as (multiplayer) 'cought in the crossfire'? It has an interestingly scripted AI. Or LOP's colony game mission 'Outcaster starship'? I scripted most of the AI bases, it has 3 AI players which sometimes fight against each other and you.

How could this idea be new. Do you seriously believe that you are the only one who finds the original ai boring??

Recently a project has been started to create a generic ai that can be used on random maps (if we had those - but you get the point). It never got far... http://forum.outpost2.net/index.php?showtopic=5187

And yea, Flashy's ai's are pretty good.

No i dont believe im the only one who would have thought of the idea.. but since i brought up the subject, ive been told that there are such maps.  

I played danger zone a little bit ago... really cool map.
