Hello + Help?
« on: February 20, 2010, 07:53:14 AM »
I found my old Outpost 2 disc. The game rocks, but I've never played online. I may do that, however, I have a f***ing issue with Eden mission 4!!! It seems so easy, but I can't get the scouts to transfer data from the Labs...

Maybe I need to update my game vers???

Any help would be greaaat.

Welcome to the Outpost universe, Sh0oTeR.

Concerning your issue, I'm not entirely sure. You may have to drive the scout onto the tile with the bottom tube, maybe try it several times. And it will probably take some time.

I remember having to wait about twice as long as I'd expect before getting a response. Maybe just leave the scout alone for a little longer. If you keep moving it about the lab, it won't work. It has to remain stopped for a few seconds. It also has to be right up next to the lab, with no tiles in between.

Additionally, you just have to move next to it. Moving ONTO (by force-move) won't work. Just casually park it on the bulldozed area around the lab and you should be good.

You already asked this question in another thread.  We already answered it.

Actually he posted it here, first. Then in the other thread.

But this is just another example of how crossposting is confusing and why it should be avoided.
