I am currently looking through mods on http://mods.ibplanet.com and I noticed a Ladder game system.

Would this be a good thing?

[DEMO http://www.cncgamer.com/forums/index.php?act=ladder ]

We could use it with Outpost 2 and/or 3.

Tell me what you think.

I'd like to know if we'd use it.

I don't know..... it might not be all that useful to us since we don't have a lot of users that use the forums on a regular basis.

Actaully, the users report the games they play off-site, then report the game.

This keeps track of wins/loses and can be used as a basic ranking system.

So,  (thumbsup) or  (thumbsdown) ?

Don't let me be the last one...

All right.. the mod is almost completed.. All I have to do is add links.

(I am awaiting a reply from a skin creator so I know what font to create the image in [see: caliskin])

But, the thing is, you have to be in a clan in order to submit a game, and to submit a game, you must be on the Winning side.

Please PM me your clan names (Please, from the leader of the clan, and if they are not registered, either make them register, or act as the next highest member) so that I can create them.

I may create a "Null" or "Other" clan on which you can join so that you don't have to pledge yourself to one clan.

Note: Does anyone have an image for Pie Chart Map, Peace Keeper, and La Corrida? I need them for the Ladder system, and they were not in the Included Doc that comes with Outpost  :op2:

Xfir, do you want any help doing programming on the ladder software?

edit: Ask me about making it a module in the invision system, that's what I did with my shoutbox...... (http://civilwar.xfir.net/ipb/board/index.php)
This will make it a LOT more compatible with future versions, instead of doing direct hacks into the code...... You can get around a few hacks if you use modules and new "sources". Then you only need 2 hacks minimum, which are in functions.php (to insert it by the navbar) and index.php (to add to the sources table, at the bottom where it says "require and run")

Right now I'm having MySQL difficulty.. the stupid thing is putting the win data in, but not the loss... it keeps trunicating clan names (like "The Builders" become "The") so I've been trying to edit the damn thing to get it working.. no luck so far.
