Bad Days, Who Cares?

All old games that were suposebly to be #1 in the world where cut down money, than left to survive at any way as necesary. Than programers and well trained people had to make un-offical games with no funds and aren't payed.

Some games could be #1:
Warzone 2100
KKND krossfire
Outpost
Duke Nukem
Heretic...

AND now so called "Big and Fun" games have arrived.
IT SUCKS!
"Please register to play $#W/()"#% on internet. you can only play on Lan"!!!!!

"Register the game to play all multiplayer missions!!!"

Gordon Freeman, and mr. Crowbar would own Master Chief in any part of the day.

Only true for PC games, though.  Most consol systems will cinue their game support forever

Yeah, but have you tried to play KKND Crossfire on PS2? The control interface is a ....load harder than a PC.

Strategy games are easier to play on PC than console, IMO. Although the control interface in Red Alert on PS1 wasn't too bad...

This is true but if you notice, retro gaming is growing in its popularity. Services like Gametap open people to games they would probably never have had access to in the past.

the big fun crap games that are suppose to be hard and difficult which really arent.  Usually require to upgrade the computer if you havent already.  Retro games are the cult followed games that had a great liking and then vanished from the face of the earth because the next big game pushed it out of the way.

I still say Sonic kicked Mario's ass!

Gametap doesn't only do retro games.  Uru: Ages Beyound Myst is a game that wasn't released that long ago, but Cyan Worlds could no longer afford to maintain the servers for Uru live, the multiplayer version.  Recently, thanks to gametap, it is back

a lot of games will not be erase from the news, because they're the kind's best. see elite II, a lot of people know this space opera, because it offer a lot of freedom and exploration, more that the today's games! maybe elite IV will supplant this, but that did not arrive yet

I have heard about Elite.  From the sounds of it very simular to the 4 X Universe games.

Duck Hunt does own OP2 because there are no ducks or clays in op2 that you can shoot.

Elite is liked more  than the 4 x-universe games, because in elite, you have billions and billions of stellar system and you can go on planets and physics is more respected  B)

I have played duck hunt and I see a difference between op2 and duck hunt: when you play op2, you've pleasant sensation after some time for some hours, and duck hunt get recreation immediately but you can't play a long time.

finally... it's my point of view  :)

if they did get it what are the odds of us having to pay-to-play it online (gametap IS pay-per-month) besides there are other ways to get the games...

But the real concern is that those games (good) were replaced by games who were the last on game list. Whoe ever played 2d flight Simulator!?!

I don't know about 2D flight simulators, but bring back the 2D (faked 3D) racing games. Top Gear was great. Just wish I could find an emulator that could run Top Gear 3000. (Top Gear 2 works at least).

I have Top Gear 2 for SNES.

Wait a minute... this has kinda gone off topic, hasn't it.
Then again, I love going off topic. Nothing would ever happen if you didn't change the topic.
