After the success of our last get together on IRC a while back (June 11th) we have decided to have another, we hope that over this weekend many games of Outpost 2 will be played and people will once again enjoy this great game to the fullest. Our main goal is to get as many Outpost players online over the weekend, if you have never played before you can download the game and play, the weekend will be an ideal time to get into the game.
As before we will be hosting a 1v1 tournament. To signup pm me via the forums.

I've added ACRO to #Outpost2.lobby, a game where it gives you an acronym and you have to create the words for the acronym. (ex. IMHO = In My Humble Opinion) Once you enter your acronym, you have to vote on whose is the best.

To start this game in the Lobby, type !acro.

(Please don't start Uno while ACRO is running, or vice versa! When you do that, it confuses everyone who is playing).

Also, the seen command can now be used in an msg by anyone (you do not have to say HELLO to the bot anymore).

I would like to finish it, ill dump it just b4 the next reunion weather its finished or not.

The tourney isn't dumped. If you still have to play a match with someone, talk to me (I am now the interim tourney director because Lev is gone for 10 days)

We needed extra people to play, so we had to take more people in.. otherwise it would be impossible to finish the tourney.

Rondt_Panther, damn it has been a long time since I've seen you. You used to wipe the floor with about every player on OP2. I think only Prince_Paco ever could go toe-to-toe with you.

Rondt's a fun challenge. It's hard playing him, since he's so much faster than lev.

How long has it been since he's played though (does he get on IRC, since I can't I don't know). If he is even half as good as he used to be, then he'll be a real hand full.

He's one of the few "old timers" that has apparently not gotten sucky. He says he's slower though, and I believe him, but his slower is still faster than lev.

I haven't seen Lev play, so I don't really know. If Rondt has gotten slower, than it would still be a good match I think (since I hear Lev is pretty good).

No, Rondt will slaughter lev if lev uses his "pie" tactic. Rondt's tactic is way faster. For example, he has ~4 mics when lev/me starts producing a sticky.

Rondt's disadvantage is he only gets 2 smelters.(which is why he's faster) In an unbalanced team game(ie 4vs2) he'd be slaughtered, but 1vs1, or even 2vs2, you're in trouble.

Apparently Lev has gotten better since his won days, and apparently Rondt has gotten worse. He still seems faster though.
