If there is another weapon (dont have my manual) there is no more room to put in the answers, there is 10 max.
I personally like ESG, spreads around and usually a good defense weapon against ususpecting newbies :).
Edit: omg, i forgot to put ESG, and I was even thinking about it...:blink:

Thors hammer all the way, takes a while to get, but it is strongest, and also a very good weapon against newbs

I like Thors hammer too but I love to use spiders and EMP more.

If I could pick more then 1 I would pick:
1)Sticky
2)EMP
3)RPG
4)EMP missile
That combination if I can ever get a game going long would unstoppable :ph34r:

I used to be able to get thor's hammer before mark 100. That was way back in the day. I used to whoop @$$ big time. Ahh the memories.

dang, I have never seen so many mics, which game was that lev? is wasn't one I played with you.

Lev is correct about the lynx, if ur a good rusher then lynx is all u need. But if the game goes longer id prefer the acid cloud against the esg, because acid shots faster and has longer range than the esg even with out upgrades. But its only good against lynx. So if theres tigers then whip out the sweet old combination of EMP/Thors with one or two stiky tigers to become victorious.

with mics u can eitther attack from the start and just keep units goin in2 battle or wait for Advanced Armoring Systems then attack.
or by the time u start runin out of ore cuz yield is goin down u get Smelter Postprocessing and u have more ore 2 get mics for a bit.
ps land rush on flood plain is best for havin load of mics. i made 261 units in a flood plain game once.

If he got that many units up, eather they weren't as fast as him, or they were toying with him, building a massive defense.

Of course one thing about having that many is that while some are being killed, other's just overwhelm the other player and go behind to the base and maybe knock out something. The best thing to do is to use them in cordination with an EMP missle. Even if it's only a tokamak or cargo trucks, that would seriously impair the other player's game plan. Just make sure to have a good defense set up back at the base. I have made this work only a couple of times, but it worked none-the-less. Best thing is to have EMP missle's and lotso gaurd posts.

true, but a dozen GPs wouldn't last against a dozen tigers, but they def would against lynx, you would just have to repair them often enough.

With an EMP missle or two, a dozen rpg gaurd posts would last for long enough to be reinforced by vecs from the vec fact's behind them in the base. Especially with a supernova and a couple missles, could wipe out a big chunk of the tiger's...then just add more supernova's and you got yourself a party.

Hands down, it is Thor's Hammer. This weapon has a long range and can inflict devastating damage. The only con is the rate of fire, but I can always fix that, hee hee.

Well, from my days of playing FPSs I would normally go for the supernova, or anything you can kill yourself with to escape being fragged (I was terrible at FPSs) but in OP2, the Thor's Hammer owns. It's got distance, rate of fire, and damage. Admittedly the EMP missles are a cool touch but you can defend against them with the meteor defense buildings. I'm guessing I have a thing or two to learn though since some people seem to like a few weapons I've never had any use for and never build. <_<

I like thor's hammer, it is the best weapon, but you usually don't need it if you are any good at OP2.
If you learn it well, you end up just using microwaves because they are fast, made quick and if you do it right at the beginning, making a lot of them, they are deadly.

If it's going to be a short game, I like microwaves and stickeys. (Against Lev.)
If it's going to be a long game, I like Spiders and EMPs. (Against my brother)

think about it if you have 10 space ports and 10 emp misles you can basically go in with one scorpion and kill every thing, that is if you had enough rescorces, hands down it has tho be the EMP MIssile. and it is not a choice
if your refuring to why i chose the rpg for the car its becasue a ton of rpgs are devastaing even agains thors

for eden I got with the good 2:1 ratio of thor to emp, or on games in wich I have no rare ore I do 2:1 of railgun emp lynx, having 3 vecs chuck them out I can have alot in a small period of time, and it may not seem like it, but railgun and emp is a force to be recond with...
unless the other person has somthing better lol

Yeah, take a rpg with an emp, and then it would be a battle. RPG's versus railgun's. It would really matter who's playing and how good they are at combat.

one big weakness with emp missles is, they have to be launced at space ports, and space ports blow up
people normally build spaceports right next to eachother so they can launch faster, but that also means that if you can get one supernova or 3 starflairs through, you can knock out their missle production instantly (and mabe blow up another critical building if they build haphazzordly)
just attack with a medium sized force of lynx, they would launch the emps but wouldnt get all the lynx, so they would send their defence to mop up, while doing that send in another wave of lynx so they send in a few more emps, if your lucky they would also emp their own units
while all this is happoning sneak a few starflairs or supernovas into their base for a nasty suprise :D

And maybe you guys would want to do some duels to find out which weapon actually is the best...
say 40 tigers vs 40 tigers, players decide upon the numbers of each weapon and have a good clash.
Maybe something new would come up ;)
