Zhall,

I didn't realize we had a discord group. Are game days Sunday on Discord as well and is it getting used regularly?

We don't. It's not an officially sanctioned channel.

I'm not discouraging it, though. I like discord and think it could be a useful platform for us.

I really like Discord. It works across multiple platforms, if you don't want to install an application on your computer you can run it in a web browser, it's free, it's effective and the company is growing.

I proposed it as a way to supplant IRC in favor of a more modern platform that includes both text chat and voice chat for those who want to do that but BlackBox and Arklon brought up a good point -- they wanted to integrate IRC functionality into the website/game client and Discord is proprietary. Fair enough argument so I kind of left it alone.

I'm still in favor of taking advantage of Discord.
