I have seen a amazing lack of activity might be one of the longer dry spells. Is every one just waiting for the other to make a new post?

Hey, been busy as hell with school. Finally remembered my password yay!!!

Some time ago the site went down. I feared, it was gone forever. Fortunately its still here :)

It's good to see the site still up and running. It's been... far too long.

I am very pleased that that the current incarnation of the website and forums were not lost from the internet and that the Outpost Universe lives :)

For me, it has been the following:
Graduated with a BS - looked for work nearly 24/7
Couldn't get a job, went after an MS
got my MS, got a contract position
Contract ended, looked for work
Currently in a new contract that has me working from 5 am until 2 pm. Contract is almost half way through
Have three "next job" plans that depend on what I hear back
So, in the free time I have, I am doing one of the following:
Playing (world of tanks has me hooked currently, minecraft is a close second)
Chainmaille weaving (very relaxing as long as I don't work with micro maille)
Watching youtube because I'm just too tired to put edfort into anything.
Taking care of the dogs
The forum keeps slipping out of my attention because of how long of a gap there is between posts.

I grew unhappy with my life and decided to go travelling. I spent 6 months in Taiwan, forcing myself to learn traditional characters, then moved to Cambodia, where I've spent another 6 months. I also spent a few days in the Philippines early in my trip. Haven't been home in over a year.
I've picked up a few interesting stories to tell. Particularly in Cambodia. What a strange place.

Wish I had travel stories. I do not. Except perhaps my move to West Virginia which was utter misery the entire time I spent there until I finally moved to Ohio about 20 minutes east of Cleveland. Couldn't be happier with the move. Bought a new car, bought a house, landed a job as the operations manager of a technology repair company.
It's great to see how others are moving on with their lives too. :D
