Old Game Escape Velocity the first one not Nova.
The Forklift. Change the missile launcher fitted to your ship into a weapon that fires fast tracking and would kill almost any thing. And while activating the forklift on start up it would sing WE'LL TRY TO KILL THEM WITH THE FORKLIFT.
that weapon there almost looks like the energy blade from halo.

The Gravity Gun from Half-Life 2 of course!
It can lift, and, drop, and, you know, shoot.
It's not just a great weapon, it's also really practical for daily use.
And when you pull it through a weapon stripper it becomes this crazy deathray.
You can't do better than that.
Well, okay. The Portal Gun from Portal is a serious contender.

lol, most of the top 10 list bring the BFG above the gravity gun because it was the first weapon that really made us swoon.
Fighter, the background screams classic id game..so I'm going to guess it's either from Heritic or Commander Keen, lol

Last I checked, Commander keen was a side-scrolling game, not a first person shooter.

Noooo you all have it WRONG!
The best weapon , when fired, can eradicate a galaxy in 1 shot...did i mentions it's more rapid than a minigun? oh plus it has it's self destruct code, when ordered, it rips the space/time/continuam or w/e it called.
It's a weapon the size of a big heavy rocket launcher, but instead of rockets, it fires these particles smaller than a grain of sand. each can rip space and tear the very fabric of time with a radius the size of 8 galaxies. It has these small holes comming out the end to release the particles. The particles are named:
X666-v7-GM
GM stands for grey-matter and the rest i dont know stands for.
And the weapon its self is called:
GMP (grey-matter projector)
My guessing is that they create some sort of artificial black hole-related bomb the size of a speck... and it launches out of a two handed artillery gun. It collasps on it's self after being activated, then eradicates spacial matter on a galactic scale.
If you ask me, any doomsday weapon like this one is better than the above of which you guys posted.
This weapon is better than: any weapon that can destroy at 10,000 galxies and not much more
planet destroyers- rules out deathstar.
any doom1/2/3 weapons (all takes place on one planet at a time, no galactic scale here.)
any halo weapon including 900 halo rings that fire at once, which is not part of story.
even if there were 1million death stars (very unlikly to ever become that many) it wont even compare to even 1 of the 10,000 particles fired per 1 secound.
anything that dont have infinite ammo might rule out too.
anything that cant go on a galactic scale cant compete with this magnatude.
can anyone beat that weapon??? i bet not! :P

greatests video game weapon.
the power button/reset button.
end the entire reality of the game and/or restart it. and this weapon is a tangeble object in our own universe. you get the tactile pleasure of touching it to destroy all enemies all friends and every thing inbetween. Much like a server admin with a power trip.

Well, people are definately going to say Thor's Hammer, and Supernovas. Probably ESG as well. Then there will be a bunch of comments concerning non-conventional weapons like Tokamaks and Adv. Labs, and possibly some mention of a few mods, or mod ideas people have thought up (evil vortexes, sticky bombs, EMP bombs, etc.). Some people will also jokingly bring up things like the scorpion weapon (Ice, if you still read this), and maybe a good old "I'm fire'n mah lazer" comment. By the time we're done, every weapon in the game will have been mentioned at least once. Not that there are all that many weapons. :)

Pfft, no, it's pushing their convec off their structure factory doc with your robo surveyor once it's done it's job. (Btw, this really pisses people off, and I don't recommend doing it).

Don't EVEN start up with the Chuck Norris crap! When it comes to Martial Arts, he's not that great. Yet you just keep on hearing all these bull s*** jokes that make him out to be an ultimate fighter!

Nail gun from FEAR. Nothing quite like decorating the hall with enemies. Especially when the gun fires Tent Stakes that impales them to the wall.

any way Half life 2 crossbow can pin people to various surfaces right down to there hands and feet. many of a time have a crucified some one.
