Title: How Are People Playing Op2 These Days
Post by: SirCharles on June 03, 2009, 01:34:31 PM
hi everyone,
it has been way to long since i played op2 online.
i stopped by and followed the directions for the netfix deal, and got to the point where i needed to get the op2mod.dll.  unfortunetly, i was unable to get the file and finish setting up op2.

i remember the last time i played here, i needed to use hamachi, which is ok, but i had trouble finding other players that used it, so i was limited to how often i could find a game.

i was hoping to find a different way to play op2 that would enable me to be in more games.

if any one has any ideas, or help, i would be very gratefull.
thanks in advance for any help that is provided.

Netfix comes with the latest version of OP2, v1.3.5 Beta 2, which you can get here (http://forum.outpostuniverse.net/index.php?showtopic=4222&view=findpost&p=65464).  Unfortunately, it doesn't work all that great for a lot of us, so we still use Hamachi.  Regardless, you'll need 1.3.5 anyways.
