Mostly: be good, knowing everything and everybody...

But, if you REALLY need an half-op, than sucking-up is a great solution :P

It depends which OP you talk to and how that particular OP is feeling at the time.

I'm sure you realise that you get OP's individually on each channel, depending on the owner/operators of that channel
