Hey everyone, Glad I've finally tracked down a group of ppl still interested in Outpost 2, seems its all but dead everywhere else. I already ran into Leviathan and few other on IRC today, hopefully I'll be playing a few games with you guys.

Well let me see, I got it pretty soon after release, which I think was 97, so there's the answer. Its got to be one of my top 3 favorite games of all time. I'm really looking forward to hearing more about the colony map release.

How come you never ventured online at the time ?

Well back then I was living in the UK, and as anyone from that time will remember there was no free internet, meaning every time you went online it was a long distance call, so even 20 mins was expensive, that and I didnt even have a phone jack anywhere near my comp. When I finally got a decent connection I was out of OP2 and into Worms Armageddon, so thats what I played.

Hehe wen i used 2 play on a 56k connection (in uk) on won i used to have to pay up to £150 a month for my op2 gaming :o

Yea exactly, unfortunatly I couldent afford it lol. At least I've got a decent connection now, I'm looking forward to trying a multiplayer, do you think we can set one up sometime?
